SalDeen Save the Children Foundation Pays School Fees for Underprivileged Pupils

As part of our commitment to ensuring every child has access to education, SalDeen Save the Children Foundation has fully covered the school fees of eleven (11) underprivileged pupils at LORD’S MISSION PRIMARY SCHOOL in Amputty Camp community, Upper Rokel, Checkpoint, off the Freetown-Waterloo Highway.

The school serves many children from low-income families who struggle to afford education. The initiative by the foundation ensures that these pupils do not drop out due to financial constraints.

Representatives from SalDeen Save the Children Foundation, Mr. Kamara said, the goal is to ensure that no child is denied education because of poverty. “Education is a right, not a privilege,” a spokesperson for the foundation stated. “We believe that every child deserves access to learning opportunities, and we are committed to making that possible.”

Parents and school authorities have welcomed the support, describing it as a lifeline for the students and their families. Many of the beneficiaries come from struggling households where affording school fees is a major challenge.

A parent of one of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude, saying, “I was worried about how to pay my child’s fees. This support has given me hope.”

This intervention aligns with the foundation’s broader mission to empower children through education.

We call on other organizations and individuals to join the cause in helping more children access quality educational.
